Romeo and Juliet is a story written by William Shakespeare. It is a very familiar story to many people of the world.

Act 1
Romeo and Juliet first meet
In the first scene, the beginng of the play starts with a fight between Capulets and Montagues. They fight over who's the better man! When the fight is over, Prince Escalus of Verona informs everyone that if there were to be another fight, they will face death. Later, Romeo comes along and talks with his best friend and cousin, Benvolio. They talk about how depressed Romeo is because his girlfriend that he loves, does not love him. Benvolio tries to make him feel better. Luckly, Romeo found the servant of the Capulets and helped him read an invitatioin to a family party. Romeo's friends think that this is the best way for him to be happy so they take hime to the party. While at the party, Romeo finds Juliet and is now over his girlfriend, Rosaline. At the end of the act, Romeo finds out that he is in love with his families foe, while Juliet does same.
Act 2
Balcony Scene
This act is the first turning point. Romeo and Juliet have their famous balcony scene when they exchange of vows and how much they love each other. Then, Romeo goes to Friar Laurence to ask if could marry him to Juliet. The Friar talks to hime aobut it and gives him good advice. Afterwards, he agrees to marry them! In the Capulet house, Juliet decides to tell Nurse about her getting married to Romeo. She asks her to go meet Romeo and ask when they are to be married. She also asks if she could not tell her parents of them getting married. Later on that day, Juliet goes to Frair Laurences cell to meet Romeo. At the end of the act, they were to be pronounced married.
Act 3
Tybalt fighting Mercutio
This scene was a major turning point. Afer Romeo's wedding ceremony, he goes to meet his friends Mercutio and Benvolio. He finds them, but notices that Mercutio is arguing with Tybalt. Tyblat then tries to fight Mercutio and ends up killing him. To get revenge for his friends death, Romeo kills Tybalt in return. When Prince Escalus hears of this, he automatically wants to put Romeo to death. Between Benvolio and Lord Montague explaining things, the prince decides to banish (sent off to another area and never seen again), Romeo. After saying his goodbyes to Juliet, he leaves to go to the nearby city of Mantua. Secretly, he and Friar Laurence have a plan so that they could convince the Prince to let Romeo back in Verona. In Juliet's house, her mother and father inform her that she will be getting married to county Paris in three days. She is outraged and so, her parents tell her if she does not get married, they will pack her baggage and disown her. She goes to Friar Laurence to make up a plan to get her out of th marriage. She is to take a poison that makes her sleep but look dead. Then, after her funeral, she will awake and Romeo will be there to take her away. Now, lets hope Romeo gets the letter in time!
Act 4
Juliet's Fake funeral
In this scene, Juliet goes to her family and makes them believe she is going to marry Paris. That night, she takes the poison and drifts away. The next morning, Nurse finds her on her bed, thinking that she is dead. The family then prepares for the funeral. At the funeral, Balthasar, Romeo's servant, sees this and is off to tell Romeo. Romeo finds out before he gets the letter and races to Verona.
Act 5
Romeo and Juliet's death
In this scene, Romeo finds Juliet and Paris in the tomb. Paris sees Romeo and wants to kill him. Romeo ends up killing Paris. Then, he sees Juliet dead and drinks a poison that kills him automatically. Juliet wakes up and sees Romeo dead so she thinks she can't live with herself and stabbs herself. At the end, the Friar explains everything and Capulet and Montague become friends. That is the end of the story.
